A score of 99% set Esther Wirick and Julie Newman, Sheridan School of Business graduate certificate program grads, apart from the masses in the recent National Knowledge Exam (NKE), a nationally accredited human resources exam for the Certified Human Resources Professional designation.
CHRP candidates Wirick and Newman are recent graduates of the Sheridan School of Business graduate certificate program in Human Resource Management. The Sheridan College program offers the 9 required courses accredited by the Human Resources Professionals Association which allow program graduates to write the twice annual National Knowledge Exam which leads to the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation to continue a career in the human resource profession in Canada.
“In the last two years Sheridan graduates have placed as top scorer as a national candidate (Sarah Nash) and twice as top scorers of Ontario candidates,” said John Hardisty, program coordinator of the Sheridan School of Business Human Resources programs.
Human Resource program coordinator Hardisty, a long time human resource professional and former president of the Halton chapter of HRPA, is currently in competition for his second 3 year term on the Board of Directors for the HRPAH.
