“The Faculty of Business Awards night was a wonderful evening recognizing the top performers and leaders in our business programs. I was delighted to meet the parents, spouses, and children of our award winners who came to share their pride in the accomplishment of their winner. As faculty we are equally proud of our students, the evening went far too quickly. Scott was named one of the top 5 social media influencers in the world on Forbes.com. His book UnMarketing: Stop Marketing, Start Engaging became a national best-seller before it was released, and recently earned the number one spot on the Globe and Mail Business best-seller list.

His inquisitive mind and determination gave him an education well beyond the Sheridan course curriculum. In the classroom, you never really knew which direction Scott would take; all you could count on is that it would be interesting and innovative,” said Laurie Kondo, Professor, Human Resources program.

Stratten was welcomed into the Sheridan Business Hall of Fame during the annual Faculty of Business Academic Awards event.
